Alone, and with some good company as well, but the fact is that, after sitting in with the best musicians of the Canary Islands and out of them, the promising (or shouldn't we start talking about a reality?) bassist from Gran Canaria has released his debut album as a solo artist.

This work reflects part of the musical journey of Moreno during his career, from the rocking beginnings, to his discovery of jazz, without forgetting his passion for funk.

In the same way Charlie has contributed to enrich many of the recordings he has been involved as a bass player, in "So Lonely" some remarkable musicians like Andreas Prittwitz, Chuck Loeb, José Antonio Ramos, Nono García or Antonio Toledo "return the favor" .

After participating in a very active way in the Canary Islands Jazz Festival by coordinating several workshops and as a member of some canary bands that have played at the event, Charlie Moreno will perform twice in the upcoming edition with his own group (José Víctor González, drums; Octavio Hernández, guitars; and Andreas Prittwitz, sax). In these shows you'll be able to listen to most of the compositions of "So Lonely".
